Any change to the exterior of your home will require a submittal/review/approval before beginning any work. The most common items that need to be reviewed are painting, staining, window and door replacements, including garage doors, deck replacements/additions, roof replacement, dog runs, gazebos, greenhouses, changes to existing concrete walks or driveway, hot tubs, patio covers/Pergola's, play equipment, solar equipment, and central air conditioners.
NOTE: any attachments must be less than 25 MB or hand-delivered.
The ACC reviews all requests via email. Requests must include a completed ACC form and all backup documents/items/photos needed for review. Please submit your ACC requests to Derek at Derek.Patterson@RowCal.com. When you send in a request please be sure to include your address (example: 1234 Main Street) on the subject line of your email.
If you are not able to send your request via email, you can drop it off at the RowCal office.
Please include in your request pictures of the current home/roof/area to be improved, brochure copies, color chips, manufacturer names/product codes, etc. If you have any questions about your request or what you may need to submit, please contact Derek at Derek.Patterson@RowCal.com
The University Park Architectural Control Committee is comprised of volunteer members of the community that are appointed by the Board of Directors. The ACC may operate as a single committee or may operate with one or more Sub-Committees handling specific areas such as Landscaping.

The purpose of the Design Guidelines & Community Standards is to promote and retain the design excellence and high-quality appearance of University Park. These Design Guidelines & Community Standards apply to all residential and commercial properties within the area known as University Park, including University Heights filings 1, 2 & 3; University Bluffs filings 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5; Hidden Canyon; The Villas; Sonnet Springs; Springs Canyon; several commercial properties; and The Resort. If there are any discrepancies between these Design Guidelines & Community Standards and any previously issued Design Guidelines & Community Standards for any area of University Park; any Declarations of Conditions, Covenants, Restrictions, and Easements for any area of University Park along with any subsequent revisions; or any other Design related requirement associated with any deed or title, then the more restrictive of the requirements that are in compliance with current laws shall prevail.
